The platform behind uevents.me: event and show management, a seat-map booking engine with VVIP seating, food ordering tied to bookings, coupons, SkipCash payments and real-time availability over Socket.IO.

Event organisers sell seated tickets — including premium VVIP sections — with food and concessions attached, and attendees expect to see seats disappear as others book them.

Seat-based ticketing fails in the moments that matter: two people selecting the same seat, a payment completing after the seat is gone, or an admin account being taken over.

A NestJS backend with a seat-map and VVIP seat-map booking engine, real-time availability pushed over Socket.IO, food add-ons linked to bookings, coupons, and a SkipCash payment integration with a payment log. Accounts are protected with TOTP two-factor authentication, and the codebase has been through a VAPT security assessment.

   Real-time seat state

   Seat availability is broadcast over Socket.IO so every open seat map reflects bookings as they happen, instead of failing at checkout.

   Every SkipCash interaction is recorded, giving support and finance a trail when a booking and a payment disagree.
